Sabri Suby said in his book, How To Sell Like Crazy, "Among billionaires, the most valuable, nonrenewable asset in the world is their time".
Most people don't see their time as an investment and this is why they find it difficult to manage their time properly.
The difference between that billionaire and you, the best in your class and you, that your colleague that is generating so many leads and you, may just be that they've mastered the art of time investment.
What most people fail to understand is that being busy is not the same thing as being productive.
Know this and know peace!
You'll see some people busier than a bee throughout the day but at the end of the day, they don't have any reasonable thing to show as an achievement.
I was on this table not too long ago until I read an email from "Bridget from BIG Discussion" on accountability and it reformed my life.

For some people, they're so busy working "in" their life and don't have time to work "on" their life.
What do I mean?
Some people spend the whole day doing house chores, running errands, and on many other "little things" neglecting their personal development and growth, no time to even build meaningful connections with people.
Another very helpful time management technique is the Time Management Matrix. It's also applicable in a work environment.
This matrix separates all your tasks into four quadrants.
Quadrant 1- Just do it
Quadrant 2- Important activities
Quadrant 3- Delegate
Quadrant 4- Don't do it.
Tasks in the first quadrant are those tasks that are important and urgent. They include matters of urgency, pressing problems, deadline-driven projects, and meetings.
In quadrant 2, we have tasks that are important and not urgent. Activities here include planning, preparations, relationship building, and many more.
Most people call Quadrant 3 the quadrant of distraction. The tasks here are not important but urgent. Tasks in this quadrant include phone calls, replying to messages and emails, attending social functions, reports, and meetings. It's advisable to delegate these tasks to someone else if possible, and don't dwell too much on them.
The last quadrant is tasks that are seen as not important, and not urgent. The tasks here include unnecessary phone calls, "checking social media", escape activities, etc.
NB: Scrolling through social media can be placed in quadrant 2 when you're using it as a way to take a break.
Categorize all your daily tasks using this quadrant and see how your productivity will skyrocket.
Time is a valuable asset, invest in your time today and reap the dividends tomorrow.
See you at the top
